The Grey Mare’s Tail scarf is a chic combination of grey Harris Tweed with white overcheck lined with the softest black cashmere. The water resistant Harris Tweed provides structure and optimum protection against the cold, wind and rain whilst the sumptuously soft cashmere side is worn next to the skin for exceptional comfort and additional warmth. Our scarves are a winning combination of Harris Tweed and Scottish cashmere, and will keep you warm in true Scottish style.
Harris Tweed is hand woven by highly skilled weavers at their homes in the Western Isles of Scotland using traditional methods. Unusually the wool is dyed before being spun so each thread contains a mix of different colours, producing a cloth of great depth and complexity.
Our cashmere is woven at one of Scotland’s finest mills in highlands, whose clients include some of the leading fashion houses around the world.
